There will be a community blood drive in Mutual on August 18 from noon to 4 p.m. Please call the school for an appointment at 580-989-3231.
The first 4-H meeting will be September 9th right after school in the elementary cafeteria. You will need to enroll online. Trish Thompson will provide enrollment forms at the meeting.
As I reflect back on this first week of school, my thoughts always come back to the character that our students have shown as we have started the school year. I know there have been challenges and I anticipate that there will be many as we work our way through the year.
The characteristics of a TROJAN are generally described as a BRAVE, HARDWORKING, and DETERMINED individual who protects the ancient City of Troy.
I can’t think of a better way to describe how are parents, teachers, and students have responded to this pandemic.
So Parents and Community thank you so much for helping us get the school year started as we try to instill the characteristics of a TROJAN into each one of our students. I know your students will benefit from attending Sharon-Mutual Public Schools.
In closing I want to re-assure you that our teachers are a BRAVE, HARDWORKING, and DETERMINED group of individuals who will do everything they can to protect your students.
Remember: TROJAN PRIDE NEVER DIES!!

Reminder
Sharon-Mutual Schools will serve food on a grab-n-go basis of Virtual Fridays. All meals will be served from Sharon.
Remember these are available on your current status. If you are on the free/reduced program they will be the same as normal. If you pay for your lunches they will be added to your bill.

Career tech begins tomorrow. The bus will leave Mutual at 715 and Sharon at 730.

Please notify the school office if you do not have internet access at your home for your student(s) to complete their work on virtual Fridays. We are currently gathering numbers and will be getting devices and access to the students' homes who do not have access as soon as possible. We ask for your patience since it may not be in place by this Friday. Students should make best contact effort with their teacher by email or text on Friday, even if they do not yet have access. Teachers will work with students who do not yet have access.
