Cooper Hutt placed second; Adrian Palacios placed 2nd; Creed White placed third; Antonio Benites placed fifth; Trevor James placed first; Wyatt Neuenschwander placed first; and Easton Bosscawen placed fourth today and junior high power lifting competition at the Regional level. Great work guys!





S-M juniors will go to HPTC for an ACT prep tomorrow. Career tech students should go to career tech as normal. Non-career tech students will travel with Mrs. Hopper. All students will return to school by lunch time.

Hana Chapman was state runner up in the 220 pound class with a combined total lift of eight pounds. Great job Hana!


Mackenzie Bosscawen was 2nd place today at state in the 97 lb weight division. Her combined lifts totaled 425 pounds. Congratulations!

Mackenzie Bosscawen was 2nd at junior high regional powerlifting competition in Fairview today and qualified for State next Monday. A powerful young lady! Great job Mackenzie!!

S-M had our first girl 8 man state champion today. Hana Chapman won the 220 class. Great job Hana!!!


Today at 8-man state powerlifting ing meet Mackenzie Bosscawen was 1st in the 97 lbs class, Lilly Cole was 4th in the 121 class, Lexi Groff 2nd in the 136 class, Tayler Spray 3rd and Allison Pauley 4th in the 150 class, Piper Brown 5th and Pricilla Parada 6th in the 165 class, Arley Keene 2nd in the 181 class, and the girls team was meet runner-up.
For the boys Wyatt Neuenschwander was 2nd in the 145 class, Trevor James 2nd in the 157 class, and Adrian Palacios 2nd in the HWT Division.
Great job!

The S-M junior high girls powerlifting team was first runner up for eight man state by one point 139-140. Individual results will follow. Impressive, ladies!

There is no career tech or TAP Monday, February 19. TAP students should ride the bus to school if needed or report to school by 10 am. Career tech students should ride the bus to school or report to school by 10:50 am.
