The deadline for enrollment is May 31st.
Employment of LPNās is projected to grow 16 percent from 2020 to 2030! About 60,700 openings for LPNās are projected each year, on average, over the decade, which is incredible. LPNās never have difficulty finding employment, so if you have students interested in nursing ā please encourage them to enroll! If your students have questions, they may call our director of nursing, Micky McDonald at 580-571-6101.

Course Requirements
Students will have to show proof of a passing grade or certificate of completion for Medical Terminology and proof of certification for CAN as well as have the American Heart Association: BLS Healthcare Provider. All CNA requirements, Medical Terminology and CPR requirements must be completed by the date outlined in the application packet. HPTC does offer these course requirements through our Short Term Adult classes or online.
*HPTC now accepts the ACT as the PN entrance exam. A composite of 17 or a 17 in reading and math is required for entrance.
Below are the registration deadlines and test dates available to take the ACT at HPTC.

There are limited testing spots available for each test date. If you have any students who have not taken the ACT or want to re-take it to improve their scores, they can take the residual ACT at HPTC. Have your students call 580-571-6127 to a residual ACT exam . A $60 nonrefundable testing fee must be paid by the registration deadline. To sign up for a National Test Date visit www.act.org. Drop In's are not allowed due to the cost of the ACT's. A $50 Application Fee is required before your Application will be considered for enrollment.
