Hugh OāBrien Youth Leadership, or HOBY, is a 4-day leadership experience for high school sophomores. The seminar is based on three leadership perspectives: Personal, Group and Societal. Students in attendance, or Ambassadors as we call them, explore these levels of leadership by participating in various hands-on activities, engaging with local community leaders, and connecting with a diverse network of peer leaders from across the state. Overall, HOBY aims to equip students with the resources to better understand their leadership skills and how to then put those skills into action.

Just a reminder this week is parent teacher conferences. We ask that as you enter the building you please germx your hands. We would like to limit the number of visitors in our building. If you have to bring your children with you to conferences they must stay with you the whole time. Your temperature will be taken as you enter the classrooms. If you feel more comfortable in a mask we will wear one as well when speaking to you. If you have had a possible exposure within the past 14 day, not feeling well or work in a facility with high exposures we ask that you reschedule. We value the safety our our community and our school system and are trying to do everything we can to keep everyone healthy.
