We got to celebrate Adrian Rivas birthday today! Adrian graduated from Sharon-Mutual in 2012 and has been employed at Sharon-Mutual for 9 years working in the cafeteria. If you have ever met Adrian you know he swells with Trojan pride, attending as many sporting events and activities as possible. Adrian is an absolute ray of sunshine and the children love to see him and talking to him every day! Each student made Adrian feel special during their lunch period singing him happy birthday and bringing him birthday cards! We are so lucky to have you Adrian! HAPPY BIRTHDAY from Sharon-Mutual school!

Sharon-Mutual 4H Club will have a meeting today after school at 3:30 in the Sharon Cafeteria. You will be able to sign up and learn about the programs you can participate in this year.
Woodward firefighter Melissa Hobbs came and spoke to Pre -K through 2nd grade about fire safety, how to call 911 and the importance of knowing your address. Thank you for Educating our kids on Fire safety! The kids had such a good time and haven’t stopped talking about everything they learned!
Applications for the Chancellor Hans Brisch Scholarship are available and due by December 4, 2020. Applicants should have demonstrated a commitment to enhancing their community or school demonstrating high academic achievement & have a proven record of leadership success. Next weeks elementary and JH football game with Waynoka will he played next Tuesday Sept 15. 5:30 kickoff for elementary with JH to follow. It is a home game.

Sharon-Mutual has been approved to provide free meals for all Sharon-Mutual students from September 1st to December 31st. This will include both breakfast and lunch for the first semester. Those students who were on paid status or had a balance will owe for meals through August 31st.
Also there will still be a charge for extra milk.

HISTORY OF MUTUAL
Mr. Marlatt took his 9th grade Oklahoma History students on a tour of Mutual. They discussed the history of the town and how it began.
